Who will take ownership of a community push to try and save the 7-day-a-week Plain Dealer?

A campaign launched by the Newspaper Guild has thus far not prompted much reaction from civic, political and business leaders.

Will the community rally to persuade the paper's owners not to shift to a 3-day or other business model?

The public sunk a plan to make improvements at and around the Port or Cleveland.

A proposed levy increase lost by a wide margin.

Why did that happen?  What are the consequences? When it will be back on the ballot?

An old Cleveland civil rights group has new leadership.

Reverend Hilton Smith takes over as President of the local chapter of the NAACP.

Can he get it on a better financial footing? What is his agenda? How can he make it more relevant to young people.

Tom Beres discusses these issues with Channel 3 Political Analysts Dennis Eckart and Mary Anne Sharkey and the Reverend Hilton Smith on this edition of Between the Lines.
