Between the Lines: Rep. Fudge discusses new job and Congress

Written By kolimtiga on Senin, 26 November 2012 | 00.38

11th District Representative Marcia Fudge is getting a new prominent role as the head of the Congressional Black Caucus.

It will give her an influential voice as a spokesperson for issues that are especially important to minorities.

She will also have a more significant task representing Northeast Ohio's interest in Congress.

U.S. Representatives Steve LaTourette, Dennis Kucinich and Betty Sutton are leaving office and taking about 40 years of seniority and experience with them.

What will Rep. Fudge's new role in the delegation be?

How will her CBC position help her district and constituents?

How does she see the "Fiscal Cliff" political drama playing out?

What are her goals for the new Congress?

Tom Beres joins Cuyahoga County Democratic Party Vice Chairman Blaine Griffin and Conservative Plain Dealer Columnist Kevin O'Brien discussing these questions with Rep. Fudge on this edition of Between the Lines.
