Medina: Inmate dies in apparent suicide

MEDINA -- A prisoner at the Medina County Jail has died following an apparent suicide attempt.

According to a release from the Medina Sheriff's Department, deputies found Michael Green in his cell just after 8:30 p.m. on November 7. Corrections officers and jail medical staff began life saving measures.

Green was taken to Medina General Hospital where he was pronounced dead about an hour later.

Green was booked in to the jail on October 10. He was being held on charges of aggravated robbery and kidnapping in connection with a March 6 incident in Harrisville Township.
