WINDHAM -- Portage County Sheriff David W. Doak confirmed that about 4 p.m. Thursday, sheriff's department detectives were requested to assist Windham Village Police in the investigation of an alleged homicide that had occurred.
Police identified the victim was identified as Blake A. Wolfe, 37, of Windham.
Wolfe was discovered in his home and police suspected foul play.
Detectives and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation responded and processed the scene.
Early Friday morning, detectives arrested and charged Thomas W. Walters, 42, of Shalersville Township, and Traci Y Wolfe, 40, of Paris Township, with aggravated murder.
Traci Wolfe is the estranged wife of Blake Wolfe., according to the sheriff's department.
Both Thomas Walters and Traci Wolfe are currently being held at the Portage County Jail without bond and both will be arraigned at 1:15 p.m. Monday at the Ravenna Courthouse.
The investigation is ongoing and the cause of death is yet to be determined.
An autopsy is scheduled to be preformed today (Friday) at the Summit County Medical Examiners Office.
