Cleveland: One person dead after east side shootout

CLEVELAND -- Police say one person has died after he was shot on Cleveland's east side.

That person was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where he died.  

The shooting happened just before 11 a.m. on E. 105th Street and Columbia Avenue. 

Two men have been taken into custody by police. 

Our crews on the scene learned that this was a shootout between two people and an innocent bystander was hit with a stray bullet. 

The Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit is investigating this case.
