AKRON -- Police are hoping surveillance video will help them capture a suspect who allegedly shot a man at a gas pump and then stole the victim's vehicle.
It happened around 5:10 a.m. Sunday at the BP in the 700 block of Grant Street.
The footage shows a suspect wearing a red T-shirt exiting from the passenger side of a burgundy Chevy Silverado truck.
Moments later, the suspect approaches a man who was standing near a gas pump and opens fire.
After the shooting, police say the suspect then drives away with the victim's blue 2013 Chevy Malibu with Alabama license plate FCT-5286.
Anybody with information is asked to contact the Akron Police Department at 330-375-2490.
Police warn the suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.
