AKRON -- Two teens have been arrested after a 51-year-old woman was attacked and robbed of her purse Tuesday afternoon.
Police say the incident happened around 4:30 p.m. as the woman was walking to her car in a parking lot in the 1100 block of West Portage Trail.
The two suspects, ages 14 and 16, reportedly grabbed her purse and dragged her through the parking lot during the attack.
Once the suspects snatched the purse, they fled to a nearby wooded area.
Police say the victim suffered injuries to her right arm and right leg and ankle.
Responding officers later located the two suspects in an apartment complex.
Both teens were placed in custody of the Summit County Juvenile Detention Center on charges of robbery and obstructing official business.
