MEDINA COUNTY -- The Ohio State Highway is investigating a plane crash that occurred Thursday about 10 a.m.

The crash occurred in Guilford Township in Medina County.

The pilot, Leah R. Hetzel, 24 of Brunswick, and the co-pilot Robert J. Greene, 59, of Rocky River, were flying a 1946 ERCoupe.

They were flying south over Guilford Township when they experienced engine trouble.

Hetzel then flew east and circled back west and performed an emergency landing in a hay field of a farm located off Guilford Road, south of Blake road.

There were no injuries and the aircraft sustained minor damage. The Federal Aviation Administration was on the scene.
