Cleveland Weather: C'mon sunshine!

So much of our weather, here in northern Ohio, is dependent upon from which direction the wind is blowing.

A northerly wind will keep the Lake's influence in play, while a southerly wind takes the Lake out of the picture.  With an east wind, we receive down sloping air from the Appalachians, which can give us a small warming affect.  A west wind will keep the Lake in play for some areas, especially those to the east of Cleveland and north of US-422.

Friday will feature a mix of Sun & Clouds & it will still be Chilly.  High: 38.  Wind: North 5-10 mph.

Clearing & Cold Friday night.  Low: 25.  Wind: NW 5 mph.

Saturday will be Partly to Mostly Sunny & Milder, because the wind starts shifting to the SE 5-10 mph.  High: 46.

Increasing cloudiness but not as cold Saturday night.  Low: 38.  Wind: SE 10-15 mph.

Sunday will be Cloudy, Windy & Warmer with scattered late-day showers.  High: 55.  Wind: South 15-20 mph.

Rain showers will continue Sunday night & Monday, as the Front & the waves of Low Pressure that ride along the Front, SLOWLY slides to the east.  High Monday: 46, with temperatures falling as the Front goes past.

We'll see a mix of Rain & Snow Showers Monday night & Tuesday.  High Tuesday: 39.

Another weak system will slide across the lake on Wednesday, bringing us a few scattered snow showers.  High: 40.

Thursday will be Partly Cloudy & seasonable.  High: 42.
